Lauren Day died 16th June 2006 age 15. Lauren lived in Grangemouth in Scotland with her Mum and
Step-dad. She was a very loved daughter, grand daughter, niece and had adoring cousins.
Lauren died from Cystic Fibrosis a genetic disease for which there is no cure. She lived life to the
full at every oportunity. Unfortunately due to Cystic Fibrosis Lauren would spend months of her life
in hospital at a time. She always made up for lost time when she was well. she loved going out with
her friends shopping or to the cinema and just being with them at every opportunity.
Lauren was a wonderful daughter. She was loving, caring and always happy to be living life to the
full. Lauren always said that she tried to fit as much in to her short 15 years as some people fit
into a lfe time. Lauren had made big plans for her future with university included and travelling
to various places. Unfortunately she never managed to do these things. Hopefuly one day a cure will
be found for this tragic illness so that no more mothers have to go through the pain of watching
their children die a very premature death.

Well i never realised how fast one year could go but trust me it goes fast. Its kinda weird not talkin to u on msn anymore when u come in from school i miss givin and hearin all the gossip but i'll leave u with some. Arun asks about u everyday he has a picture of u by his bed and he always wants to hear stories of when we were all younger, we watched a video the other day of the time we had that halloween party and u had stand on a yellow pages cause u could reach the donuts that were hanging from the fan lol he looks like u and he has ur attitude aswell. U offically became an auntie again Adele had another baby girl shes called Millie looks just like her big sister but shes got dark hair and ur nephew isn't due till november he's takin his time apart from that there's nothin much to tell u apart from we miss u xx

Just wanted to say how sorry I am for the death of your beautiful daughter. I myself suffer from Cystic Fibrosis and understand how much of a devastating effect this illness has. I know it wont bring your daughter back but hopefully a cure is just around the corner. Take Care x

well lauren i remember you from primary school and high shool you were always so cheery we didnt speak at high school but we spoke in primary school and it was such a shock to find out tht you were there and then you were not well c you soon R.I.P xxxxxx
Merry Christmas
Its now been six months since you left us and we all still miss you terribly. Even more so now as you loved Xmas. It was your favourite time of year. Even at 14 last year we could not get you to go to sleep. You were still like you were when you were four. We have made some decorations for you and put them at your grave. Its just not the same as it should be.
